The inquest into the death of Winifred Dornfeld, daughter of Mrs. Louise Dornfeld of No. 103 Goundry street, whose body was found in the Tonawanda creek on October 30, held before Coroner J. E. HeJwig yesterday afternoon produced no new information. . .Mrs. Louise Dornfeld, mother of the dead girl testified that the girl was 19 years old and that she was in the best of spirits when she left her home on October 29. She also said that the girl had not had any trouble with any member of the family.

Coroner Jacob E. Helwig this afternoon announced his decision in the mysterious death of Miss Winifred Dornfeld, the 19-year-old daughter of Mrs. Louise Dornfeld of No. 103 Goundry street "I have decided to give as my verdict that Miss Dornfeld came to her death on the night of October 29, by drowning in some unknown manner," said the coroner. A copy of his decision and the evidence taken at the inquest reconducted by the coroner will be filed with County Clerk Thomas T. Feeley at Lockport shortly.
