The marriage of Miss Ann
Elizabeth Zimmer and Otto.
Fuchs was solemnized at 11
o'clock this morningr (July 7,
1956) at St. Mary's of the Cataract
Church.
The, Rev. Robert J. Breiden-
stein, cousin of the bride, officiated
at the ceremony between
the daughter of Mr, and Mrs.
Henry Zimmer, Buffalo Ave.,
and the son of Mr. and-Mrs.
Joseph Fuchs, New York City.
The nuptial mass- was solemnized
by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Patrick J.
O'Pwyer. Mrs. J. Frederick Neff
was organist The mass was sung
by St. Mary's Choir under the
direction of Mr. Zimmer.
Escorted to the altar by her
father, the bride wore an original
floor-length gown of em
broidered nylon tulle with an em-
pire waistline accentuated by
white satin and a chapel-length
train. Her fingertip-length veil
of hand-rolled illusion flowed
from a-crown of iridescent sequins.
The bride carried a bouquet
of happiness roses and lily-of-
the-valley and ivy.
Miss Janet Zimmer was maid
of honor for her sister. Her
gown was white embroidered
organdy over mint-green summer
taffeta with a short sleeved fit-
ted bodice which featured an
Italian neckline, and a ballerina
length full skirt. Her floral
headpiece was complemented, by
a round bouquet of white marguerites
and ivy. The bridesmaids,
Miss Carol Zimmer, and
Miss Teresa Stanek, wore similar
gowns and carried round bou-
quets of brown-eyed Susans and
ivy, and matching headpieces.
Bernard .P Sheehan was best
man. The ushering duties were
performed by Walter Fuchs,
brother of the bridegroom, Rich-
ard H. Zimmer, brother of the
bride, and Finley D. Marshall.
For the wedding breakfast, at,
the Red Coach Inn, the mother
of the bride'wore a'dusty' pink
imported linen sheath and fin-
gertip-length lace tunic. The
mother of the bridegroom wore
a pale blue linen dress and white
accessories.
The newly weds will motor to
New York City and from there
travel by plane to Bermuda.
Upon returning the couple will
be at home at 1104 Ferry Ave.
