A 20-year-old Niagara Falls
youth died today in Walter
Reed Army Hospital, Washington,
D.C., as
t h e result of
an auto accid
e n t t h r ee
days ago.
An Associat-

letin listed the
youth as Rob-
ert L. Zito, son
of Mr. and
Mrs. Samuel
Zito, 8305
Pershing Ave.
The youth was
a member of
the U-S. Coast Guard.
A companion, Richard Ziehl,
of Baltimore, Md., driver of
the car, died a few hours after
the accident.
According to the Associated
Press, the car ran off a road
near the Coast Guard's radio
communications facility in
Fairfax County, Va., across
the Potomac River from Washington.
The Zito youth had
been assigned to the electronics
d i v i s i o n of the Coast
Guard's facility there.
Robert was a graduate of
Stella Niagara and Bishop
Duffy High School. He attended
John Carroll University
prior to entering the U.S.
Coast Guard, where-he had
served for two years.
Funeral services and burial
are being arranged by .. the
Spallino Fuheral Home. The
body will be shipped here
from Washington.
