Funeral services for the former
chief engineer of the old Interna-
tional and Cataract hotels here;
Jessie W. Barrett. Jamestown, will
be held in that city tomorrow.
Mr. Barrett died in Jamestown
Friday of a heart ailment. He had,,
planned on attending the conven- .
tion in this city last week of the
New York State Association of Tow,
er Engineers.
Mr. Barrett was born in Spencerport,
N. Y., on July 31, 1867. He
left this city in 1911. He was a
member and past president of the
Power Engineer's union and a chap-
lain of the State Stationary Engineers
association.
A year ago he was given a lift
membership in the latter organization.
Surviving are his wife, Moss V
Lever Barrett; a son, Irving W.
Barrett, ML Morris, and two bro-,
ther, Edward, Cuba, N. Y., and
Eben, Spencexport.
