The marriage of Miss Audrey Rech, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Fred A. Rech of 459 Niagara street, and Robert
J. Kirkpatrick, son of Mr. Daniel Kirkpatrick of Oswego,
waa solemnized yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the parlors
of the First Presbyterian church house, the Rev. Wesley
Baker performing the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of white
velva-ray, having a tight bodice
and long full skirt and a tiara
of white pom pong. Her shower
bouquet of white roses, gypsophila
and pom pons was tied with white
oriole organdy ribbon.
Miss Dorothy Rech, sister of the
bride, was her only attendant and
wore a gown of yellow velva-ray,
her headdress being a tiny hat of
yellow pon poms. She carried a
bouquet of yellow roses, pom pons
and gypsophila tied with blue oriole
organdy ribbon.
Mr. Thomas Kirkpatrich of Glens
Falls, brother of the groom, acted
as best man
Mrs Rech, the bride's mother,
wore a gown of blue sheer with
blue accessories and a corsage of
pink rosebuds.
Following the ceremony a reception
for seventy-five guests
was given in the home of the
bride's parents where the decorations
were gladioli and mixed bouquets.
The bride's table was centered
with a beautifully decorated
wedding cake, and further adorned
with silver candelabra containing
white candles.
Mr. and Mrs. Kirkpatrick have
left for a short wedding trip and
after September 1 will make their
home In Middleburg, N. Y.
