TONAWANDA - Albert P.
Hardleben, 77, of 447 S. Niagara
St., died today (April
21, 1961) in his home after a
lengthy illness.
Mr. Hardleben, a lifelong
resident of the Tonawandas,
wa semployed by Spaulding
Fibre Corp. for 37 years until
he retired in 1958.
He was a past president of
the North Tonawanda Common
Council for 12 years and
was a member of First Methodist
Church, a former member
of the Kiwanis Club and a
former director of the Kiwanis
Boys' Club and of
Southerland Lodge No. 826,
F&AM.
Surviving are his widow,
Mrs. Genevieve Rech Hardleben;
two daughters, Mrs.
Howard Semon and Mrs. Jason
C. Schad, both of this city;
and three grandchildren.
Rev. Lynn S. Bugbee of
First Methodist Church will
conduct the funeral service at
2 p.m. Monday at the Roth
Funeral Home. Burial will
be in Elmlawn Cemetery.
