- August 20, 2013 Dale W. Neumann Anonymous The Tonawanda News The Tonawanda News Tue Aug 20, 2013, 01:30 PM EDT NORTH TONAWANDA — Dale W. Neumann, age 77, of North Tonawanda, died on Sunday, August 18, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Born in North Tonawanda, NY to the late Walter and Dorothy (Stenzil) Neumann, he had been a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, and was the brother of the late Sharon Wright and Rodney Neumann. Mr. Neumann had been employed as a Facilities Manager for Praxair in the Town of Tonawanda for over 33 years, retiring in 1992. He was a volunteer fireman for Gratwick Hose No. 6 in North Tonawanda for many years and was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances J. (nee Urtel) Neumann; three children, Mark (Gail) Neumann of North Tonawanda, NY, Sue (Thomas) Mulvoy of Alpharetta, GA, and Kevin (Debbi) Neumann of Cypress, TX; two grandchildren, Courtney and Brittany Neumann; three step-grandchildren, Corin (Wesley) Czajkowski, Bruce (Barb) Clough, and Adam Clough; two step-great grandchildren, Emily and Dylan Clough; a sister, Paulette (Rick) Bennett of Stokesdale, NC; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) City of Tonawanda. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 22nd at 11 AM in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 1208 Oliver St. in North Tonawanda. Friends invited. Rev. Jonathan D. Lawrence will officiate. Private burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst. Flowers gratefully declined.
