A message received from Ver-
eeniging, South Africa, yesterday
announced a triple wedding in
Johannesburg on Wednesday af-
ternoon of this week of three cou-
ples from the Tonawandas and
points in Canada. The girls, Miss
Marion Siegel, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Siegel of 25
Broad street; Miss Alice Scho-
field, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Schofield of 76 1/2 Dela-
ware street, and Miss Dorothy Mc-
Namara of Toronto, left the Tona-
wandas on October 31, to become
the respective brides of Walter
Wolf, son of Mrs. Margaret Wolf
of 26 Loretta street; James Ren-
ney of St. Catherines, Ont., and
William H. Allen, son of Mr. and
Mrs. William S. Allen of 253
Payne avenue, in the triple cere-
mony.
A wedding reception followed at
the home of W. J. Kennedy, distributing
agent for the Columbus
McKinnon Chain company of
Tonawanda and St. Catharines in
South Africa, in Johannesburg.
Messrs. Wolf, Renney and Allan
left the Tonawandas last June to
take over key positions in the
chain company's new plant at
Vereeniging.
