Family pews were marked with white bows, boxwood
and pompons.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Orlando B. Rumbold, 287

and Mrs. Wallace Burnell.
The Rev. A. Ray Lewis offi-

ceremony. J. Gordon Felton was
the organist and John McCully,
the soloist. Nuptial selections were
"I Love You Truly," "Because"
and "The Lord's Prayer."
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a gown of imported
Supioni silk encrusted with re-
embroidered Alencon lace. Cres-
cents of lace enganced the portrait
neckline standing in points at the
shoulder, the motif of the lace,
outlined with iridescent sequins.
Defining the long torso basque at
the lowered waistline were match-
ing sequin-studded motifs of the
lace. The voluminous skirt round-
ed into a sweep train. Her finter-
tip veil of imported illusion was
caught to a matching lace crown
studded with iridescent sequins
and small seed pearls. She car-
ried a cascade of white orchids
studded with pearls and arranged
with loops of satin.
Dressed alike in gown sof royal
blue velveteeen were the bride's
attendants, Mrs. Paul A. Rumbold,
matron of honor for her sister-in-
law; Miss Lynn Vanderheite and
Miss Nancy Albee of Rochester,
the latter a college classmate of
the bride.
The empire waistlines of their
gowns were accented with satin
bands which terminated in dresslength
streamers down the back.
Matching tailored bows and tiny
veils fashioned their headpieces.
They carried white, yellow-centered
daisy chrysanthemums and
bitter sweet in cascade bouquets.
Arthur Burnell attended his
brother as best man. Ushers were
Paul A. rumbold, brother of the
bride, and James Cramer.
For her daughter's wedding,
Mrs. Rumbold chose a sheath
dress of mountain-green faille with
black accessories. Her corsage was
of white orchids.
Mrs. Wallace Burnell, the bride-
groom's sister-in-law, chose a navy
blue wool dress with inserts of ny-
lon and white accessories. A cor-
sage of gardenias and roses com-
pleted her costume.
A reception was given in the
Clay Pipe Room of Delaware Ho-
tel with 200 guests attending. White
gladioli, snapdragons and chrysan-
themums and white tapers adorned
the buffet table. The bride's table
was adorned with flowers and cen-
tered with a five tiered wedding
cake topped with a white wedding
bell and shower of lilies-of-the-
valley.
Out-of-town guests were present
from Kingston, Rochester, Lock-
port, Buffalo, Niagara Falls and
Toronto, Canada.
Mr. and Mrs. Burnell left for a
motor trip to Virginia, the bride
wearing a black suit dress with
white accessories and a corsage of
white orchids.
They will be at home after Dec.
1, in 323 Tremont St.

en by Mrs. Wallace Burnell, Miss
Lynn Vanderheite and Mrs. Paul
Rumbold.
