WHEN MISS Elaine Lynn
Russ, Rochester, and James
John Ross were married
Saturday (June 14,1969) in
a noon service at Prince of
Peace Ohurch, the b r i de
received as her,wedding ring
one which had originally been
h e r m a t e r n a l g r e a t -
grandmother's. The Rev. Paul
Letourneau officiated.
The bride is the. daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. John E.
Russ, 451 Portzer Road,
Quakertown, Pa. Mr. Ross is
the son of Mr. and. Mrs. John
P. Ross, 1558 Ashland Avev
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a
princess gown of organza and
appliqued Alencort lace
fashioned with scoop neckline.
A matching lace headpiece
secured her elbow length
illusion veil and she carried
a Dutch colonial bouquet of
miniature -white carnations,
stephanotis and ivy.
The floral designs were
done by the bride's mother,
and Mrs. James. R o s s,
g r a n d m o t h e r of the
bridegroom, designed and
made the attendants' gowns.

MRS; SAMUEL MeyerJr.,.
Rochester, was matron of
honor. She wore a buttercup
yellow A-line gown of pique
and carried a white basket
of Marguerites trimmed with
avocado velvet bow and
streamers. Similarly attired
were the bride's sister, .Miss
Joel Ann Russ, Rochester,
maid of honor, and Miss
Gloria Ross, sister of the .
bridegroom, bridesmaid.
David Truesdale was-best
man. . Jerry Colosi and
Michael Russ, Quakertown,
brother of the bride, were
ushers. Michael Kohnke and
Thomas Netzer were altar
boys.
An afternoon reception was
held in the Terrace Room at
Hotel Niagara.
After a wedding trip.to the
Midwestern states, Mr. and
Mrs. Ross will make their
home at 1104 Adelaide St.,
Normal, Ill. The bride, a
dental hygienist, will be doing
graduate work at Illinois
State University. . Mr. Ross
will be doing graduate work
and is .a member of the
faculty of that university.
