Miss Susan Beyette and
Colvin Gardner were married
in a candlelight ceremony
Sept. 6 in St. Paul Lutheran
Church, North Tonawanda.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. F. L. Beyette of Frank-
lin Street, Tonawanda, and the
late Mr. Beyette, and the
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Howard Gardner of
Grand Island.
Given in marriage by her
brother, Peter Beyette, the
bride was attired in an Empire
gown of white silk organza
with bishop sleeves, high banded
neckline and a chapel length
train. The dress and train
were trimmed with Venice
lace lined with pink satin ribbon.
Her Camelot cap and chapel
veil were trimmed with match-
ing lace were fashioned by
the bride. she carried a bou-
quet of stephanotis and ivy.
Miss Donna Mallue was maid
of honor wearing an aqua dotted
Swiss gown with scoop neck-
line and puffed sleeves. She
wore a matching aqua velvet
ribbon in her hair and carried
a candle decorated with ivy
and matching ribbon also
fashioned by the bride.
Identically attired were the
bridesmaids, Mrs. James Hus
Var, Mrs. Earl Voelker and
Miss Terrie Sue Fardner, sis-
ter of bridegroom. Miss Linda
Watt, flower girl, wore a white
dotted Swiss trimmed with
pink saidies and carried a bas-
ket of summer flowers.
Kenneth Gentzke was best
man. The ushers were Albert
Landroche and Robert and
Larry Beyette, brothers of the
bride.
The mother of the bride wore
an aqua wool A-line skimmer
dress with black accessories.
The bridegroom's mother
chose a beige nylon dress with
turquoise accessories. Both
wore white cymbidium orchid
corsages.
Following a reception at the
church, the couple left for a
honeymoon journey through
New England.
