LOCKPORT-St. Peter's- United Church
of Christ was the setting Saturday (Oct. 9,
1965) for the wedding v of Miss Patricia
Payne and John Chambers.
Rev. Herbert L. Siegner officiated at .
the 7 p.m. nuptials for the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs Chester P a y n e , Hartland
Road, Gasport, and the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Wilber Chambers, Mountain Road,
Middleport.
ESCORTED by her father, the bride
chose a floor-length gown styled with a
scoop neckline enhanced with seed pearls
and Aiencon lace, and sheath skirt falling
into a chapel train.
A headpiece of silk and pearls held her
illusion veil. She carried a crescent of
white roses with ivy.
Mrs. John Thompson was the matron
of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were
Miss Patricia Scanlan,' Gasport; Mrs. Gary
Harrod, Barker, another s i s t e r of the
bride; and Mrs. Frank Penkalski, Barker.
They were similarly attired in floorlength
gowns of gold crepe with matching
headpieces to hold their illusion veils. They
carried crescents of golden roses.

MICHAEL CHAMBERS was his brother's
best man. Guests were seated by
John Cole; John Genet, Gasport; and Douglas
Puff.
An evening reception was held at the
Middleport Fire Hall. The mother.of the
bride greeted guests in a gold and white
brocade suit with gold accessories. An
emerald green crepe and lace suit and
beige accessories were the choice of the
bridegroom's mother.
