RANSOMVILLE-MISS SHIRLEY L. DIEZ,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Diez, 5527
Porter Center Road, became the bride of
Lester G. Woolard Saturday (July 23, 1966)
at 3 p.m. in Ransomville Methodist Church.
Rev. Clarence French officiated at the double
ring ceremony for Miss Dier and the son of
Mr. and Mrs. David I. Woolard, Greenville,
N.C.

ESCORTED BY HER FATHER, the bride
wore a gown and veil she designed and made
herself. The floor-length sleeveless white Alencon
lace gown was fashioned with a scoop
neckline and soft pleated skirt. The detachable
chapel train was made of aqua Venise
lace with a white self bow trim.
MRS. DOUGLAS DIEZ, sister-in-law of the
bride, matron of honor, wore a similar dress
with white Alencon lace lined in mint green.
Her veil was of mint green illusion held by a
row of yellow artificial flowers. She carried
a cascade of white daisies.
Junior bridesmaid, Miss Sandra Diez, sister
of the bride, was attired in a gown similar to
that of the matron of.honor, with aqua Alencon
lace over white fabric. Her veil was of aqua
illusion and she carried a similar bouquet.

BEST MAN was Douglas F. Diez, brother
of the bride, and David Ecky and Richard
Diez were ushers.
A reception was held in the Recreation
Hall of Ransomville Methodist Church after
the ceremony.
