WILSON-Miss Kathryn Louise Chiavaro
became the wife of Dennis Edward Upton in
a 7 p.m. double ring ceremony Saturday (Aug.
23, 1969) at Wilson First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Harold Faba officiated at the
candlelight wedding.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs.
John A. Chiavaro, 6133 Corwin Ave., Newfane.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford Upton, 2579 Townline Road.

GIVEN in marriage by her father, the bride
wore a white silk organza gown fashioned with
bishop sleeves, mandarin neckline and attached
sweep train. It was trimmed with venice lace
and accented with ..blue ribbon inserts. She
carried a cloud bouquet of white daisies, blue
delphinium and baby's breath.
Miss Anne M. Studley of Rochester was
honor attendant. Her gown of Meissen blue
dotted swiss featured an empire waist and
short puffed sleeves. She,wore a white straw
picture hat and carried a colonial bouquet.
Similarly attired were the bridesmaids, Miss
Cynthia Upton, sister of the groom, and Miss
Beverly Vento, cousin of the bride. Miss Angela
Shearer and Brian Shearer, cousins of
the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer.
Miss Shearer wore a white dotted swiss gown
similar to that of the bridesmaids and carried
a basket of flowers.

HERBERT FRERICHS served as best man.
Ushers were Terence Upton, brother of the
groom, and Joseph Chiavaro brother of the
bride.
A reception was held at the Wilson Conservation
Club before the couple left for a trip
to Washington. They will live in Genesco
where both will be seniors at the State University
College there.
