A very beautiful summer wedding
took place at Sacred Heart church on
July 11, when Miss Rose Viola
Nanea, daughter of Mrs. Louise
Nanea. of 1345 Willow avenue, was
united In marriage to Matthew Pat
Bonoccorso. of 1144 Garden avenue.
The bride, who was given in marriage
by her brother. Angelo Nanea,
was attractively gowned In a white
brocaded satin medieval dress. Her
plain Illusion veil fell from a halo
crown made of brocaded satin and
caught with orange blossoms She
carried a colonial bouquet of white
roses and lllles-of-the-valley, tied with
a large white satin now.
The maid of honor. Miss Rose
Allers, was attractively dressed In a
floor length , yellow , satin petticoat
ftown. over which she wore an embroidered
net coat. She wore a tiara
of yellow rosebuds and yellow slippers.
Her bouquet of yellow roses and blue
sweet peas was tied with a yellow
mallne bow.
The groom was attended by Anthony
Muolo The three bridesmaids. Miss
Lucy Calaty. Miss Isabel Muolo and
Miss Angela Buccieno, were gowned
in aquamarine mousseline de sole
dresses, with a wide yellow satin sash,
They wore yellow rosebud tiaras and
yellow slippers. They carried colonial
bouquets of yellow roses and baby's
breath tied with a large yellow bow.
The ushers were Peter Trombetto,
Donald Trincanati and Frank Chiodo.
The ring bearer, little Ronald
Abate, was dressed In a white satin
suit and carried a beautiful pillow of
white satin and lace.
The bride's mother wore a navy
blue crepe dress, trimmed with red,
with which she wore while acces-
rorlrs and a rorsage of roses and
sweet peas The groom a mother
wore an orchid print drew, with
brown accessories and a corsage of
roses and sweet peas.
A wedding dinner was served at the
home of the bride, covers being laid
for 35 guests. A reception was held
at 6 o'clock at the Amendola hall.
The bridal couple left for Newburgh
and New York City. The brlde
golng-away outfit was a navy blue
taffeta suit, a red crepe hat and purse
nnd navy blue pumps and gloves. She
wore a corsage of roses.
Pre.nuptial affairs were a shower
given by Mrs. Louise Nanea and Mra
Rose Sacco, at which the bride was
presented with an electric range, and
a red and white kitchen shower given
by Mrs. Vincent De Lorenio, at which
the bride was presented with many
useful gifts.
