GONYAW - Ethel Gonyaw, 65,
of 327 Broad St., Tonawanda. died:
Tuesday (Feb. 7, 1960) at .De-
Graff Memorial Hospital, after a
brief illness. Born in Bay City,
Mich., she had been a resident of
Tonawanda for 35 years. Mrs.
Gonyaw was a member of First
Presbyterian Church, Twin City
Court 141, Order of Amaranth;
Past matrons of Twin City Court;
Sirius Chapter 301, OES; Lebanon
Shrine 3, Order of the W h i t e
Shrine of Jerusalem; Rebekah
Lodge, 'Bay City, Mich., and Shipmaster's
Auxiliary 6 of Buffalo.
She was the widow of the l a te
Charles Gonyaw who died in
1953 .and mother of the late Mrs.
Evelyn Ackerman. Survivors include'two
daughters, Mrs. Stuart
Baker of Burbank, Calif., and Mrs.
Charles Hodge of Tonawanda; a
son, Louis Gonyaw of Tonawanda;
two sisters, Mrs,,Albert Noel and
Mrs. Floyd Booth; one brother,
Harrison Squires, all of Bay City,
Mich.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call at John O. Roth
Funeral Home, Morgan and William
Sts., Tonawanda, where services
will be Friday at 2 p.m. The
Rev. Donald V. Roberts will officiate.
Burial in White Chapel,
Cemetery.
