LOCKPORT-Clarence F. Shepard, 82, of 242
Washburn St. died Monday, (June 13, 1966) at the
Howell Nursing Home after a three-month illness.
Born Feb. 22, 1884, in the
Town of Newsted, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Shepard,
he made his home in this
city for the past 48 years.
Mr. Shepard retired from
the Harrison Radiator Division,
General Motors Corp.,
where he had been employed
as a welder for 35 years. He
was a member of the First
Baptist Church.
He was the husband of the
late Dora L. Shepard, who
died in March 1965.
Surviving are one son and
one daughter, Mrs. Chester
Beatrice) Albright, this city.
and Weldon Shepard, Palmyra,
and two brothers, Irving
Chappius of the Rapids,
and Allen Chappius of Clarence
Center.
F o u r grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews also
survive.
Friends may call at the
.Prudden and Kandt Funeral
Home from 24 and 7-9 p.m.,
where services will be conducted
by Rev. Paul Gleason
of the First Baptist Church
at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will be in Cold
Springs Cemetery.
