Miss Linda Louisa Thorman,
daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer F. Thorman of
6557 Nash Koad, North
Tonawanda, became the
bride of Gary William
Schade, son of Mr. and Mrs.
William Schade of 6688
Nash Road this afternoon
at 4 o'clock in St. Peter's
United Church of Christ,
North Tonawanda.
The Rev. Russell R. Myers of
ficiated before an altar enhanced
with white gladioli and white
snapdragons.'
The bride wore a short-sleeved
gown of silk organza .over taffeta.
Silk floral appliques accented
the scoop neckline and the
full skirt which extended into a
chapel-length train, Her veil of
illusion was fastened to & crystal
crown, She carried white roses
and carnations centered with an
orchid in a cascade bouquet
Miss Paula Fick, maid of honor.
wore a pale orchid taffeta sheath
dress with an over skirt and carried
a colonial bouquet of white
carnations and roses. The bridesmaids.
Miss Diane Schade and
Miss Berna Schade. wore dresses
with pale orchid bell shaped taffeta
skirts and deeper velvet bodiccv
The dresses were detailed
with short sleeves, scoop necklines
and bows at the waists.
They carried white roses and
carnations. Vesalina Gergof. the
flower girl, wore a pale orchid
frock with a circular skirt and'
darker velvet bodice. She earned
a basket of mixed tlowers
Norman Jagow attended the'
bridegroom as best man. Ushers
were Robert Gray and Wade
Graf.
The bride's mother chose a
beige lace dress over taffeta with
beige accessories. The bride-
groom s mother wore a light cor-
al taffeta dress and jacket of
matching lace over taffeta. Sil-
accessories completed her en-
sembie.
A reception follows the cere-
mony in Adams Fire Hall with
out-of-town guests attending from
Waverly and Elmira. NY., Toronto.
Canada and Roanoke. Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Schade will
travel to Canada and will be at
home after Sept. 17 in 3104 Falls
Blvd., North Tonawanda.
Pre-nuptial showers for the
bride were given by the Misses
Diane and Berna Schade. Mrs,
Norman Jagow, Miss Elaine
Wright, Miss Anette Rose, Miss
Janet Nelson, Mrs. Roy Nelson,
Miss Rachel Thorman, Mrs. Andrew
F. Thorman, Miss Joyce
Behm, Mrs. Ruth Behm and Mrs.
Carol Beck.
