street announces the engagement
of her daughter, Virginia
Mary Ellen, to La Vera M. Miller,
son of Mr. and Mrs. James Gor-
man of Keil street. The wedding
will take place in May.

St. Francis of Assisi Church
was the setting for a lovely
Spring wedding on Saturday,
May 24, when Miss Virginia
Bradlee, daughter of Mrs. Helen
Bradlee of 300 Oliver street became
the bride of LaVerne Miller,
son of Mr. and Mrs. James
Gorman of Keil street. The Rev.
Francis Trapp officiated. Mrs.
Charles Kelly sang the "Ave
Maria" and mass.
The bride, given in marriage
by her brother, Russell Bradlee
of Buffalo, chose a gown of white
satin with short train, featuring
lace inserts. A cap of matching
lace held her fingertip veil and
she carried white rose,, carna-
tions and baby breath.
Bridal attendants were Mrs..
Charles Kelly Jr., Miss Vivian
Bradlee sister of the bride,, and
Miss Beverly Bartolomei. They
wore gown of white taffeta with
fuschia bonnets and long match-
ing gloves. Their bouquets of
American Beauty rose and baby
breath were tied with fuschia
ribbon.
Richard Miller attended his
brother as best man and the
ushers were George and Orlando
Bartolomei.
Mothers of the bride and bride-
groom were both attired in black
with white accessories and wore
corsages of red roses and white
carnations.
Breakfast at Fangers restaur-
ant, with covers for 18 guests,
was followed by a reception for
300 in VFW Post Home.
Mr. and Mrs. Miller are resid-
ing in 300 Oliver street.
