LOCKPORT-Fred Maass, 72,
of 7166 Rapids Road, Town of
Lockport, died Saturday (Nov.
29, 1969) in St. Cloud, Fla.
He was born in the Town of
Royalton, Dec. 23, 1897, son of
Charles and Reaka Koske
Maass. He was employed for
39 years at the Hooker Chemical
Co., Niagara Falls, until his re
tirement several years ago.
Husband of the alte Elizabeth
Habscheid Maass, he is survived
by a daughter, Mrs. Richard
(Dorothy) Altrogge of The
Rapids; Two granddaughters,
Mrs. WiHiamh Hebeler of Pendleton
and Mrs. William Blair
of The Rapids; four great-grand
children; a brother, A l b e rt
Maass of Royalton; five sisters,
Mrs. Alvin Genet of Lockport,
Mrs. William Newman of Middleport,
Mrs. Leland Cummings
of Akron, Mrs. Owen Hough of
Tonawanda and Mrs. Leona
Cary of Lockport.
Beginning Tuesday, friends
may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 pjfl. at the Gaule Funeral
Home where services will be
held Thursday at 2 p.m. The
Rev. Edward J. Tallis, pastor
of St. Stephen's, United Church
of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will be in Acacia Park
Cemetery.
