In a simple double ring ceremony
performed by the Rev. Carl
Kindt in St. Paul's Evangelical
Church on Saturday August 2, at
4 p. m., Miss Belva June Hodgins,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Hodgins of Pembroke, Canada,
became the bride of Carl E. Lureman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl
Lureman of 1308 Pierce avenue
North Tonawanda.
The bride wore a street length
dres of turquoise crepe fashioned
with a draped skirt. White accessories
and a corsage of white roses
and pink carnations completed her
costume.
Miss Dolores Lureman, sister of
the bridegroom, was the bride's
attendant. She was attired in melon
crepe with white accessories
and her corsage was of yellow
daisies and white roses.
Robert Schmeichel attended the
bridegroom as best man.
Following the ceremony a wedding
dinner was served for the
immediate families at Kline's
Restaurant. Later in the evening a
reception was held in the Wendelville
Fire Hall.
