Otto Andres of 310 Adam street,
Tonawanda, announce the engagement
of their daughter Verna Adele,
to Mr. Ted Wensel, Jr., of 87
Eiseman avenue, Kenmore, son of
Mrs. Ted Wensel. of Chicago, Ill.

The marriage of Miss Verna A.
Andres, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Otto Andres of 310 Adam street,
Tonawanda, to Theodor Wensel,
Jr., son of Mrs. Margaret Wensel
of Wilmette, Ill. was solemnized
at 2 p. m. Saturday, July 7 at
Salem Evangelical church. The
Rev. Walter Hetzel officiated.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, were a
gown of white net over white
taffeta, with inserts of white lace
at the square neckline. Her fingertip
veil was fashioned with a
coronet of pearls and she carried
a bouquet of gardenias, white
carnations and lilies.
Her sister and matron of honor,
Mrs. Angus J. Seamans, selected
a gown of blue embroidered net
with which she wore a shoulder
length veil and elbow length pink
gloves. Her bouquet was of pink
ruses and blue delphinium.
Donald Plant was best man and
the ushers were Angus Seamans
William Haas ind Wilfred Hyland.
During the ceremony Martin
Brauer sang, "I Love You Truly"
and "Because.
The bride's mother chose a blue
and white print dress with which
ahe wore white accessories and a
corsage of roses and sweetpeas.
The ceremony was followed by
a dinner at Lyons Tea Room.
Buffalo, and a reception at the
Elks' Club, North Tonawanda.
Out of town guests included
Miss Charlotte Wensel of Wilmette,
Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. N.
Hawthorne of Providence, R. I.
