ROME - Howard A.
Andrews, 60, who lived on the
Eureka Road, Rome, RD 1, a
former resident of Boonville,
died on Sunday, Dec. 24 at
Rose Hospital, Rome. Mr.
Andrews had been a patient at
the hospital since Dec. 19.
Born in Boonville on Oct.
19, 1918, he was a son of
Albert C. and Delia M. Briggs
Andrews. Most of his life was
spent in Boonville. He and
Esther Jane Lahah were
married at the Boonville
Baptist Church on Oct. 19,
1944. The family moved to
Rome about 20 years ago. Mr.
Andrews had been employed
by Cyprus Wire and Cable
Corporation in Rome for 34
years. He retired last June.
He was a member of the First
United -Melhodist-Church,
Rome, and t h e -Boonville
Lodge of Masons 165 F &
A.M.
Besides his wife, Mr.
Andrews is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. Keith
(Bonnie) O'Dell and Mrs.
Keith (Nancy) Herzog, both of
Verona; one son, Jack A.
Andrews, Rome; six grand-
children; four sisters, Mrs.
Pearl Johnson, Utica, Mrs.
Chester (Ida) Forte, Turin,
Mrs. Robert (Erma) Grower,
and Mrs. Joseph (Mildred)
Duda, both of Boonville; six
brothers, Homer C.,
Frederick E., Jr., Orin R.
Ernest Andrews, all of Boon-
ville, Raymond G., North
Western, and Charles E. of
Rome.
Funeral services will be
held on wednesday, DEc. 27,
at 1 p.m. at the Trainor
Funeral Home, Boonville,
where Rev. Carlton
VanOrnum, pastor of the First
Methodist Church, Rome, will
officiate. Interment will be
made in Boonville Cemetery.
