Mrs. Henry Annis died at 5:10 p. m.
yesterday at her home, 507 William
street For 25 years she had been an
invalid and during that time she was
a great sufferer, yet she was always
cheerful. Her maiden name was
Laura Stone. She was bom In the
town of Western, December 8. 1845.
and in that town, January 23, 1867.
married Mr. Annis, and soon thereafter
they went to Waverly. la. There
they lived some time and then returned
east and went to Hyland Mills
where Mr. Annis operated the factory
in which was made the first factory
cheese. She was a member of the
Wealeyan Methodist Church. Surviving
are the husband and one sister and
one brother. Mrs. Clara Robinson of
this city and Stephen Stone of Waverly.
who has been here for some time.
The funeral will be held at the house
2 p. m. Thursday.
