LOCKPORT, Aug. 5-Services
for Hollis Wyles, 73, a barber for
56 years, who died Wednesday
(Aug. 3, 1955) at Lockport City
Hospital after a brief illness, will be
conducted sunday at 1:30 at Prud-
den and Kandt Funeral Home, by
the Rev. Ritchard E. Lyon, pastor
of First Baptist Church. Burial will
be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Wyles, who was in the ton
sorial business 35 years of his business career, was born Jan. 7, 1882,
in Churchville, Ont., son of Thomas
and Elizabeth,Argue Wyles. He was
a member of United Lodge 98.
lOOF, a past vice grand of the. Odd
Fellows, a former member of the
Active Hose Co. in the days of the
volunteers, an exempt fireman and
member of Lockport Aerie 825,
Eagles.
Besides his mother, he is sur-
vived by his wife, the former Emma
E. Deahn; two sons, Roland T.
wiles, Cuba, and Roy K Wyles,
Lockport, and a daughter, Mrs.
Milton Frye, Lockport.
