GREENWALD - Isobel C.

NIAGARA FALLS - Isobel C. Greenwald, a former nurse, died Thursday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a short illness. She was 96.
Born Isobel Manley in Niagara Falls, Ont., she moved here in 1920 and attended city schools.
She earned a nursing degree from the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center School of Nursing. She worked in the medical center's nursery for several years before joining the Visiting Nurses Association.
Mrs. Greenwald was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Her husband of 42 years, Clarence W., a former city judge, died in 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Scouler of Lexington, MA.; a son, James of Lilydale, MN; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Lane Funeral Home, 8622 Buffalo Ave. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
