BOEHNKE-Bernhardt E.
Boehnke. 68, of 19 Maple St.,
Tonawanda, entered into rest
Friday (June 20, 1975) at the
Veterans Administration
Hospital. Buffalo.
Mr. Boehnke was a lifelong
resident of Tonawanda and a
member of the Salem United
Chureh of Christ, American
Legion Post 264 and VFW
Frontiersman Post 7545.
He was a veteran of World
War II, having served with the
77th Infantry Division in the
Pacific Theatre.
Beloved brother of Mrs. Alba
(Rose) Gulick, Mrs. Lena
Sparks and Walter M
Boehnke, all of Tonawanda,
and the late Otto M Boehnke
Sr. and Charles E. Boehnke.
Several nieces and nephews
also survive.
Friends may call Saturday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
Creasey Memorial Chapel Inc.,
138 Delaware St., Tonawanda,
where services will be
conducted Monday at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Richard Trump will
officiate Interment in Salem
Cemetery.
Memorials in his memory
may be sent to the Salem
United Church of Christ.
Memorial services under the
auspices of Post 264 will take
place Sunday at 7 p.m. and
VFW Frontiersmen Post 7545
at 7:30pm
