Emerson Devere Metcalf of Ar-
gonne Drive, Kenmore, was mar-
ried in West Orange, N.J., Satur-
day afternoon.
His bride is the former Miss
Barbara Jean Reise, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Reise of
that city. He is the son of Carlos
Metcalf of Gasport and the late
Mrs. Metcalf.
The Rev. R. Lloyd Roberts offi-
ciated in St. Cloud Presbyterian
Church.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore a white Chantilly
lace gown designed with a Peter
Pan collar and a full skirt which
fell into a sweep train. Her lace
cap held a fingertip veil of tulle
and she carried a cascade of white
roses and stephanotis.
As maid of honor for her sister.
Miss Helen Ardel Reise wore
a light blye nylon organdy waltz-
length dress featuring an accor-
dion pleaded skirt and a royal blue
sash. Her bouquet was pink roses
and carnations interspersed with
daisies.
In similarly - styled frocks and
carrying pink roses and white car-
natons, the three bridesmaids
were Mrs. Stuart Smith of Fair-
field, Conn.; Miss Mildred Kocor-
nik of West Orange and Miss Pa-
tiricia Terrel, Boonton, N.J.
Milton Metcalf attended his
brother as bestman. Vern C. Bell
of Lancaster, Mr. Smith and
Charles B. Kocornik ushered.
