MASSENA-Mrs. Beulah W.
Schumacher, 70, of 72 Cornell
avenue, died in the Highland
nursing home Saturday. She
had been in failing health six
months and a patient in the
nursing home the past month.
The funeral was held this
afternoon at the Donaldson
funeral home and at Emmanuel
Congregational church.
Burial will be made in Riverdale
cemetery, Niagara Falls,
Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Schumacher is survived
by a daughter, Mrs.
Glade (Lois) Lantz, Massena;
t h r e e grandchildren; two
brothers, Louis Wills, Tampa,
Fla., and Lee Wills, Ransomville;
two 6isters, Mrs. Theodore
(Henrietta) Blodgett,
Hartford, Conn., and Mrs.
Lester (Aseneth) Schultz, Ransomville.
She was born in Lewiston
Sept. 30, 1895, a daughter of
Charles and Anna McCollum
Wills. She attended schools in
Niagara Falls and was married
to Carl Schumacher Oct
4, 1924, in that city. The
couple moved to Massena 35
years ago and Mr. Schumacher
died while on a visit to
Niagara Falls Oct. 3, 1953.
