St. Teresa's Church was the scene
of the marriage-of Miss Josephine
Jean Blanzenski to Mr. Michael
Szmydka, solemnized with a Nuptial
High Mass.
The Rev. Joseph Regan performed
the ceremony uniting the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Blanzenski, Military Rd., to the
son of Mr. and Mrs Valentine Mis,
Monroe Ave
The bride wore a floor-length
gown of Chantilly lace over nylon
tulle. The fitted bodice.was enhanced
with seed pearls and
sequins, and the skirt was accented
with an insertion of lace with
sequins and seed pearls. Her
queen's crown of lace with seed
pearls and sequins held the fingertip-
length scalloped veil of silk illusion.
Miss Mary Szmydka, sister of
the bridegroom, was maid-of-honor.
She wore an orchid gown of rice
paper taffeta with a crown of
matching orchid flowers. Her
eolefnial bouquet was yellow tea
roses encircled with daisies. Mr.
Eugene T. Kazlowski was best man.
The mother of the bride wore a
pink lace frock for (he reception at
St. Michael's ' Hall, while the
mother of the groom- was attired in
a black taffeta cocktail dress.
For traveling to Honeymoon
Lodge, Fernwood, Pa., in the
Pocono Mountains, the bride wore
a powder blue suit with white accessories,
complemented with a
white orchid.
