The marriage of Miss Marlon A.
Hellert, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Hellert of Middleport, to
Chester Washak, son of Mr. and
Mrs. John Washak of 133 Gulf
street, Medina, was solemnized Saturday
morning at 8 o'clock in Sacred
Heart rectory, the Rev. Max T.
Bogacki officiating.
The bride wore a gown of pink
taffeta fashioned with a full-length
net skirt. She wore a halo of
sweetheart roses in her hair and
carried a bouquet of pink roses and
lilies of the valley.
The bridesmaid. Miss Elsie Hellet
of Middleport, sister of the
bride, wore a pink lace gown trimmed
with voile. She carried yellow
roses and white candytuft.
John Washak, brother of bridegroom,
was best man.
Following the ceremony, a wedding
dinner was served at the
bride's home, where a pink, yellow
and white color scheme prevailed.
Tables were also decorated In those
colors. Guests attended from Buffalo,
Gasport, Middleport and
Akron.
Pre-nuptlal events included a variety
shower given by the bride's
sister, Miss Elsie Hellert and a
linen shower given by Miss Ada
Lunnin and Mrs. Jimmy Bensley of
Medina.
Following a short wedding trip,
the couple will reside at 1029 South
Main street, Medina.
