ST. PETER'S EPISCOPAL
Church was the s e t t i ng
Saturday (July 11, 1970) for
the marriage of Miss Bonnie
Jane McGarvey and Donald
Edward Dlugosz.
The Rev. Canon Richard B.
Townsend officiated at the
double ring ceremony uniting
in marriage the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Jarvis M. McGarvey,
3459 Sandy Beach
Road, Grand Island, and the
6on of Mrs. Sophie Dlugosz,
80 Wilson St., Buffalo, and
the late^Walter S. Dlugosz.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a gown
of organza over taffeta which
featured an empire bodice
and bishop sleeves of Chantil
ly lace. Appliques of lace
accented the A-line skirt and
the Sabrina neckline was
trimmed with seed pearls.
The lace-centered Watteau
back terminated in a chapel
length train and she carried
white roses surrounding a
a white orchid.

MISS LORETTA EMER.
SON, Town of Tonawanda,
was maid of honor. She wore
a gown with Cluny lace bodice
and bishop sleeves, a Victorian
collar and candy colored
skirt of taffeta and chiffon
overlay and carried a bouquet
of roses.
Miss Nancy Hughes, Buffalo,
the bridesmaids, wore a
similarly styled gown with
pink skirt.
Walter J. D l u g o s z,
Lockport, brother of t h e
bridegroom, was best man.
Ushers were Michael R. John,
Grand Island, and James H.
McGarvey, brother of the
bride.
A reception was held at the
Knights of Columbus Hall,
Grand Island. The couple is
honeymooning in Canada, and
will reside in Niagara Falls.
