Announcement
has been made of
the marriage of Miss Elsie
Moench, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Emil Moench of Troy, to Richard
K. Barber, .eon of Mrs. Harold
Barber, 152 Grove PL, and the late
Mr. Barber.
The wedding took place Jan. 19
In St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed
Church, Troy, the Rev. H.
P. Vieth officiating at the double
ring ceremony.
Mrs. William LaCross, sister of
the bride, was the matron of honor
and the best man was Howard
Barber, Arlington, N. J., brother
of the bridegroom.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a gown of faille
taffeta with a full net skirt ending
In a train. Her fingertip veil of
bridal illusion fell from a crown of
seed pearls and she carried a bouquet
of white gladioli.
H e r attendant wore a gown of
blue with a satin bodice and full
net skirt with matching net head
piece and carried a bouquet of'
peach gladioli.
A reception followed in the home
Of the bride after which the couple
left for a wedding trip. They will
make their home in Utica.
The~bride ls a graduate-of-Troy
High School and Troy .Business
College. The bridegroom is a graduate.
of Utica Free Academy and
recently was discharged from the
Army Air Corps after serving for
four years, 26 months'of which
were spent in the Southwest Pacific.
He is employed in Rome.
