Mr. and Mrs. Angelo Monico of Lakewood,
announce the engagement of their daughter,
Judy Kay. to Joseph D. DeMart. son of Mr.
and Mrs. Dominic DeMart, 519 Tremont St.,
North Tonawanda. The future bride, a
graduate of Southwestern Central High
School, will be a June graduate of Alfred State
College. Mr. DeMart graduated from North
Tonawanda High School and Alfred State
College. He It employed by the Eastman
Kodak Company, Rochester. A fall wedding Is
planned.

St. Jude's Chapel, State
College at Alfred, was the
setting at 12:30 p.m. today, Oct.
11. 1969, for the wedding of Miss
Judy Kay Monico and Joseph
Dominic DeMart.
The Rev. Gerald P. Collins
officiated at an altar enhanced
by white gladioli and carnations
and bronze chrysanthemums.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Andelo Monico of
Lakewood and the bridegroom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Dominic DeMart of 519
Tremont St., North Tonawanda.
The white peau satin bridal
gown was appliqued with
beaded Alencon lace. Her
cathedral length illusion
mantilla was trimmed with
matching lace. She carried
white carnations and pale coral
roses.
Mrs. John Przepiora of
Jamestown was matron of
honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Arthur Laury of Cheektowaga
and Miss Pamela Short of
Lakewood. Lisa and Dana
Barone of Lakewood were
junior bridesmaids.
They wore identical Empire
gowns of autumn orange
chiffon They wore matching
Dior bows with bouffant veil,
and carried bronze and yellow
chrysanthemums, pompons and
roses.
Raymond Pofi of North
Tonawanda, was best man.
Ushers were David Bursik and
Robert Johnson, also of North
Tonawanda.
A reception was given at
Hornell Country Club, Hornell.
After a wedding trip to
Bermuda, they will be at home
Oct. 18 in 326 Lake Ave.,
Rochester.
