Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Barnes of 7096 Chestnut
Ridge Road, Lockport, announce
the marriage of their
daughter, Patricia to William
H. Wolfe of the Checker
- Tavern Road, Appleton,
will be solemnized at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. a. 1963 at
the Wesleyan Methodist
Church, Chestnut Ridge.
The reception will follow
the ceremony in the church
annex. Friends and relatives
are invited to attend.

White chrysanthemums adorned the altar and
white tapers graced the windows of the Wesleyan
Methodist Church on Chestnut Ridge at 7 Saturday
evening, Nov. 9,1963, when Miss Patricia Ann Barnes
became the bride of William Howard Wolfe Jr. The
Rev. John Colley officiated at the double-ring candlelight
ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Barnes of 7098 Chestnut
Ridge Road, Lockport, are
the parents of the bride. The
groom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. William Howard
Wolfe of 2392 Checker Tavern
Road, Appleton.
When given in marriage
by her father, the bride was
attired in a gown of white
rosepoint lace over taffeta,
created with a fitted bodice
and long tapered sleeves.
Her bouffant skirt terminated
in a chapel train
and a pearl tiara held her
veil of silk illusion.
CASCADE BOUQUET
She carried a cascade bouquet
of white chrysanthemums
and pink roses.
A shocking pink sheath of
satin brocade was the choice
of Mrs. Terry Luscher, sister
of the groom, for her role
as the honor attendant.
Fashioned with a scooped
neckline and three-quarter
length sleeves, the gown
featured a matching bouffant
overskirt. A matching
bow held her brief veil and
she carried a cascade bouquet
of chrysanthemums,
sprayed pink.
Miss Barbara Miller and
Miss Dawn Ryan, both of
Lockport attended as bridesmaids,
wearing identical
gowns but in peacock blue
They carried cascade bouquets
of chrysanthemums
sprayed in a matching blue.
Wearing a similar gown in
shocking pink of peau de
sole was Susan Luscher,
niece of the groom, who
served as flower girl. Scott
Barnes, nephew of the
bride, bore the rings.
Herbert Kolbe attended
the groom as best man
with guests being seated by
Thomas Barnes, brother of
the bride, and Robert Fox,
of Burt, cousin of the bride.
Presiding at the organ was
Miss Doris Whltwell, who
also accompanied Walter
and Patricia Barnett.
Mrs. Barnes attended her
daughter's wedding in a
beige embroidered gown
over taffeta. She completed
her ensemble with brown
accessories and yellow flowers.
Mrs. Wolfe, mother of
the groom, chose a s i lk
print dress in brown and
salmon. She complemented
her outfit with browrr accessories
and yellow flowers.
WEDDING TRIP
Following the reception at
the church annex, the couple
left for a wedding trip to
Canada. For traveling, the
bride chose a red wool suit
accented with red roses and
white carnations.
Upon their return, they
will make their home on
the Dale Road, Newfane.
The bride is a graduate of
Lockport Senior High School
and is a nurses aide at Lockport
Memorial Hospital. The
groom, a graudate of Barker
Central School, is employed
by the Harrison Radiator
Division of General
Motors Corp. at Lockport.
