- Whitney Lynn Barnum, June 28, 2015, born on May 18, 1944, in Buffalo, NY, to parents, Whitney E. and Verna O. Barnum.
He graduated from Wilson Central High School with the class of 1962. He attended Alfred Tech for two years. On October 13th 1974, Lynn married Mary Ellen Schuman. They raised two children, Tera and Nathan.
Lynn used his skills and knowledge learned on the dairy farm he grew up on to be known as the "man who could fix anything."
Lynn's thoughtfulness and generosity of giving anything to most anyone without expectation of anything in return is sure to be missed. Lynn worked at Sevenson Environmental for the past 32 years and became a mentor to countless co-workers and has surely left a lasting impression. When you think of Lynn a simple life, a love for animals, an honest day's work, and a cold Pepsi come to mind. Lynn is loved by his late beloved wife, Mary Ellen; daughter, Tera Barnum (Jennifer Saarinen); son, Nathan (Elizabeth) Barnum; his grandchildren Levi and Emmitt; brother, Harlos (Pamela) Barnum; sister, Rebecca (Richard) Tillotson; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. Lest we forget countless friends and family.
