Mrs. August Barnwell of 8 Erie
St., announces the engagement of
her daughter, Louise Margaret, to
Howard J. Drum, son of Mrs. Henry
Nlles of Johnson Creek.
The wedding will be solemnized
in November.

Yellow and white pompons were arranged attractively in
baskets at the rectory of St. John's Church for the ceremony performed
there Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, uniting in marriage
Miss Louise Margaret Barnwell, daughter of Mrs. August
Barnwell of 8 Erie St., and Howard Drum, son of Mrs. Henry
Niles of Johnson Creek, the Rev. Francis A. Clancy, pastor, per
forming the ceremony
Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. J.
Douglas Chapman of Johnson Creek,
sister of the bride, and Floyd Drum
of Johnson Creek, brother of the
bridegroom.
The bride wore an aqua crepe
drees with a buttle draped back and
long sleeves. Her matching off-the
face bat was trimmed with ostricch
plumes and had a shoulder-length
veil. She wore a corsage of orchids
and a wide gold bracelet, gift of the
bridegroom.
SISTER WEARS BROWN
Mrs. Chapman wore a beige crepe
dress with cape sleeves and brown
lace mitts. Her brown moire off-the-
face hat was trimmed with feather
tips and she wore a corsage of pink
camellias
The bride's mother wore a gray
crepe dress with black accessories.
and a corsage of yellow roses and
pompons, The bridegroom's mother
wore a Jersey dress with black skirt
and figured top and her oorsage was
of pink roses and white pompons.
A wedding breakfast was served
to the Immediate families at the
Park Hotel, where the table was
decorated with yellow and white
pompons and four white tapers
silver holders.
A reception to 900 guests was held
at the home of the bride, where Fall
(lowers decorated the rooms. Seven
white tapered candles burned on the
fireplace mantel.
Quest* attended from Barker,
Angola, Newfane. Canlsteo, West
Point, Buffalo, Wilson and Johnson
Creek.

and Field Club given by office girls
of Harrison Radiator Division, General
Motors Corporation,; a crystal
shower by girls of the Comptometer
Department.
