At three o'clock this afternoon,
in a simple sanctuary service at St.
James Methodist Church, the Rev.
Chester C. Beebe will unite in marriage
Miss June C. MacBain and
Peter A. Barber, Montague, Mich.,
Miss MacBain is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm J. Carter,
So. Military Rd. and Mr. Barber is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust
Barber, Youngstown.
The bride, who will wear a
waltz-length dress of Dior blue
lace over blue taffeta with white
satin accessories, will be attended
by her sister, Mrs. Bernard C. Teal,
who will be similarly gowned in
toast colored lace with blue accessories.
They will carry cascading
bouquets of Fiji mums, the bride's
in white and her matron-of-honor's
in bronze.
Mr. A. Douglas Smith. Montague,
will be Mr. Barber's best man
and the ushering duties will be performed
by Mr. Bernard C. Teal
and Mr. James G. Charron.
Following a reception at the
home of the bride's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Barber will leave on an
extended motor trip through the
Midwest. They will be at home in
Montague after December 25.
