Louis N. DiVita. 57 vears old. of
455 Thirteenth street, died in Mount
St. Mary s hospital yesterdav after-
noon after an illness nf a few days,
as told in the Gazette Owl edition
yesterday. He had been a patient'
at the hlspital since Thursday.
Mr. DiVita was a widely known
businessman and for the last four
years had conducted a restaurant at
Niagara and Fourth streets. Prior
to that he was associated with a
macaroni firm in the east side section.
A native of Italy, Mr DiVita has
resided in this country since 1890.
He had lived in Buffalo for 13 years
before coming to this city in 1904.
He was widely known in the Italian
colony in Niagara Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Min-
nie; three sons, Samuel, Joseph and
Louis, Jr. and a brother, Joseph, all
of this city.
Funeral servicces will be held from
the family home at 8:15 a.m. Mon-
day and at 8:45 from St. Joseph's
church, where Solemn Requiem
High Mass will be sung by the Rev.
George O'Neill, pastor of the church.
Interment will be in the family plot
St. Joseph's cemetery.
