Sweeney performed the
double-ring ceremony.
The bride, who is the former
Miss Louise Barone, is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Barone, Spruce Ave. Mr.
Stancomb is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Elmer E. Stancomb, Erie
Ave,
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floorlength
gown of rosepotnt lace
and tulle. A crown of lace
trimmed with sequins held her
double illusion scalloped veil.
She carried a cascade bouquet
of white roses and pompons.
Miss Eugenie Carey was maid
of honor. She wore a light blue
gown of nylon tulle over taffeta
with a matching bolero. It was
fashioned with a full skirt graced
with ruffles. A blue crown decorated
with flowers held her
scalloped veil. She carried a
lace fan of pink and blue carnations.
Miss Judy Bottorf and Miss
Marjorie Solanes, bridesmaids,
wore gowns of nylon lace and
net with lace boleros. They
carried fans of blue and yellow
carnations.
Larry Harlan was best man.
Tony Albanese and William
Doody ushered the guests to
their seats.
For a wedding breakfast and
reception, held at the American
Legion Hall, the mother of the
bride wore a cottilion blue lace
over taffeta sheath dress with
matching accessories and a corsage
of red roses. The mother
of the bridegroom chose a dress
of mixed blue taffeta with
matching accessories and a corsage
of roses and carnations.
The couple honeymooned in
New-York City.
