BATT - Charles Batt Sr.. 93
of 86 N. Marion St., North ton-
awanda, died unexpectedly Mon-
day (March 25, 1968) de DeGraff
Memorial Hospital.
He was a lifelong member of
Ascension Church and a charter
member and the senior member
of the Western New York Benev-
olent Firemen's Association, Fa-
ther of the late Charles X. Batt
Jr., he is survived by his wife,
Anna (nee Follendorf) Batt: a
son, Albert Batt Sr. and five
grandchildren, Albert Batt Jr.,
Richard Batt, Donald Batt, Mrs.
Shirley Durow and Miss Patricia
Batt. Also surviving are 11
great - grandchildren and his
brother. Edward Batt Sr.
Family will be present from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Hamp
Funeral Home Inc., Adam-Seymour
Streets, Tonawanda, where
prayers wiU be said at 9 a.m.
Thursday, followed at 9:30 a.m.
by a Requiem Mass in Ascension
Church. Burial in Mt Olivet
Cemetery.
