Several pre - nuptial
events have been held for
Miss Diane Quagliano, bride
- elect of John C. Fooks.
The first was a kitchen
shower given by Mrs.
Lawrence Hauser and Mrs.
Laurie Angelo, at the home
of Mrs. Hauser.
A variety shower was
hosted by Mrs. Richard
Eastridge and Mrs. Jane
Conley, at Tuscarora Club
of Lockport.
Miss Quagliano was entertained
at another variety
shower at the home of Mrs.
Rodger Rieger, given by
Mrs. R i e g e r , Mrs.
Rosemary Bartenstein and
Mrs. Laverne Bartenstein.
The bride was given a
grocery shower at the home
of Mrs. Pamela Todkill
when the hostesses were
Mrs. Todkill, Mrs. Gary
Navoyski and Mrs. Sheri
Drewes.
Bridal attendants to Miss
Quagliano are Mrs. Conley,
matron of honor; Mrs
Diane Harzewski, Mrs.
Donna Navoyski and Sheri
Drewes.
The wedding will be May
1.
Parents of the bride -
elect are Mr. and Mrs.
Samuel Quagliano, 38 Irving
St., Lockport. The groom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Carl Fooks, 30 Cherry St.,
Lockport.

Miss Diane Marie Quagliano
became the bride
of John Carl Fooks at 11
a.m. Saturday, May 1 at
St. John the Baptist
Church, Lockport.
The bride, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
Quagliano, 38 Irving St.,
Lockport, was escorted to
the altar by her father. Mr.
and Mrs. Carl Fooks of 30
Cherry St., Lockport, are
parents of the bridegroom.
The Rev. John M. Duggan
officiated.
For her wedding, the
bride chose a gown of ivory
satin, created in an A-line
style with long sleeves and
scoped bodice of Alecon
l a c e . Lace appliques
adorned the skirt, and
chapel train, all with
scalloped edges. Her veiling
flowed from a pillbox
headpiece enhanced by lace,
pearls and satin ribbon
loops.
The bride carried a
colonial bouquet of white
carnations and pink sweetheart
roses.
Mrs. Edward C o n 1 e y
honor attendant, favored an
empire gown of orchid
chiffon with long bell
sleeves, accented by ivory
lace and purple ribbon.
Bridesmaids were' Mrs.
Stanley Harzewski, Mrs.
Sheri Drews and Mrs. Gary
Navoyski. Their attire was
identical to the matron of
honor.
Attendants wore picture
hats with purple veiling.
They carried May baskets
of pink carnations, orchids,
dassies and white carnations.
M i s t r e s s Theresa
Gagliardi, as flower girl,
also carried a colorful May
basket.
Edward Conley was best
man. Ushering duties were
performed by Michael
Heiman, Dennis Fooks,
brother of the groom, and
Michael Quagliano, brother
to the bride.
Organist was Kenneth
Holloway.
A breakfast, following the
church service, was held at
the Bavarian Kitchen, and
a reception at the American
Legion Hall.
The newlyweds tre taking
a trip West. They will travel
to San Francisco, Anaheim
and Los Angeles.
When returning to Lockport,
their home will be in
South Street. The bride is
' employed at Flair by Ray,
and the groom at Harrison
Radiator Div., General
Motors Corp.
