A very pretty wedding was solemnized
Tuesday, Oct. 13th, .at 1
o'clock, at the Zion Lutheran
c h u r c h , when Miss Lillian M . Sed -
dinger, d a u g h t e r of Mr. and Mrs.
J o h n W. Seddinger. became the
b r i d e of J o h n J. Bates of this city,
Rev. H e r m a n Brezing officiating.
The bride wore a gown of powder
blue romntno crepe over pink
a n d lilies of the valley. She wore a
satin and a blonde satin hat. c a r r y ing
a shower bouquet of bride roses
a t t e n d e d by her sister. Miss Edna
Seddinger, who wore a gown of
t a n g e r i n e g e o r g e t t e crepe and a t a n
satin hat, c a r r y i n g a shower bou-
quet of b u t t e r f l y roses nnd s n a p -
d r a g o n s . Harry W. Wright of Tlconderoga
was best man.
A receptipn followed the cere- '
mony at the home of the bride in
Lynch avenue, LaSalle, N. Y. Cov-
ers were laid for 56. with 11 at t h e|
b r i d e ' s table, which was centered
with a large wedding cake. Flowe
r s and palms were used as decorations,
Mr, and Mrs. J o h n J. Bates, after
r e t u r n i n g from an extensive honeymoon
trip t h r o u g h the Berkshire
Hills and Pennsylvania, will be at
home In Lynch avenue, La Salle,
N. Y.
