engagement of their daughter,
Kathryn Mary, to Clarence R.
Bauer, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Bauer, St. Paul St.

A floor length gown of hand clipped rosepoint lace
and nylon tulle over slipper satin was worn by Miss Kathryn
Mary Washburn for her wedding to Clarence Bauer, this
morning (Oct. 6, 1956) at 9 o'clock in St. Teresa of the
Infant Jesus church.
The Rev. Joseph Zarkowski
officiated at the double-ring
ceremony uniting the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Washburn,
Pierce Ave., and the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauer,
St. Paul St.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. Her silk illusion
veil was caught with a
crown trimmed with rhinestones.
She carried a cascade
bouquet of white roses centered
with an orchid and lily of the
valley.
Miss Ann Zartman was maid
of honor wearing a ballerina
length gown of sea coral velveteen
and nylon tulle. The strapless
bodice was covered with a
fitted velveteen jacket. A headpiece
with a circular veil completed
her ensemble. ,She carried
a cascade of coral tinted roses.
Mrs. Douglas Atkinson and
Miss Frances Abbott, bridal attendants
were attired like the
maid of honor, in lagoon colored
gowns and carried roses tinted
to match their attires. Miss
Carol Bauer, junior bridesmaid,
wore a peacock blue floor
length gown of net. Miss Kathleen
Bauer, flower girl, was
attired like the junior bridesmaid.
Robert Geedy,. cousin of the
bride, was best man and John
Mountain, George Washburn
and John Glosser were ushers.
Kim Piccirelli was ring bearer.
A breakfast followed the ceremony
at Santoras Restaurant
and a reception will be held this
evening at the Lincoln Hotel.
The mother of the bride, re-;
ceived her guests attired in a
blue lace dress and red rose
corsage. The mother of the
bridegroom wore a beige dress
with a pink rose corsage.
A black and white tweed suit
will be worn by the former Miss
Washburn on a honeymoon trip
south.
Upon returning the couple
will reside at 4002 Lockport
Rd.
