At his -home, 216 Lynch street, at
10:55 o'clock this forenoon, occurred
the death of Anthony 'Beasock, aged
67. He had been in failing health
lor the past three years. While employed
in the Rome Locomotive &
Machine Works, 14 years ago he suffer-
ed the loss of an eye and throe
years ago he lost the sight of the
other. He was born in Germany and
came to Rome 25 years ago and resided
here since that' time. He resided
in Scranton before coming here.
He was a metal worker and his last
employment was as a heater in the
Rome Iron Mills. In this city in
1871 he was married to Amelia Steimer
who survives. He also leaves one
son, Francis J., at home, one sister,
Mrs. Theresa Martin of Brooklyn, a
half-sister Mrs. Kate Elliott of Valley
Mills, R. I., and a brother William of
Belleville, Canada. Mr. Beasock was
a, member of St. Mary's Church.
