G. Frederick Bond, 78, of
4400 Military Road, Town of
Niagara, died Saturday (June
13, 1970) in Niagara Falls
Memorial Medical Center after
a brief illness.
He was born in Lewiston
and had been a resident of
this area all his life. He
retired 13 years ago from the
Stauffer Chemical Co. where
he was employed as a
fireman.
Mr. Bond was a member
of the Sanbornite S e n i or
Citizens, a former trustee of
School District No. 3 in the
Town of Niagara, a former
school director in t h at
district, a charter member of
Niagara Fire Co. No. 1 and
a past president of the Ex-
empt Firemen of Fire Co. No.
1.
He was also a member of
the Niagara - Wheatfield
Senior Citizens League and of
Zion Lutheran Church.
Mr. Bond is survived by
a daughter, Mrs. Archie
(Vera) Caldwell, Town of
Niagara; a brother, Edward
Bond of Albion; and a sister.
Mrs. Frank (Susan) Stewart
of Florida.
Funeral • -services will be
held at the Lane Funeral
Home at a time to be announced.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 2 to 5 and
7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday.
