Edwin N. Beecher, 15, died
Sunday (May 7, 1967) in Children's
Hospital, Buffalo after
several years of ill health.
Edwin died while undergoing
surgery; he was a victim of
cystic fibrosis. A sister, Dorothy,
predeceased him in 1959
a victim of the same illness.
Edwin was born in this city
on May 17, 1951, and would
have celebrated his 16th birth-
day in another 10 days. He lived
here all his life. He attended
Cleveland Avenue School, grad-
uated from North Junior High
School, and was a grade 20 stu-
dent at LaSalle Senior High
School at the time of his death.
He was a member of St.
James Methodist Church.
He is survived by his parents
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Beecher,
a brother, Carl Beecher, and
two sisters, Marian and Elsie
Beecher, all at home. He is also
survived by his grandparents,
Mrs. M.P. Arnold, Ransomville,
and Mrs. S. N. Beecher, Ken-
more.
Funeral services will be held
at the Rhoney Funeral Home
Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the
Rev. Bertram M. Croop. of St.
James Methodist Church, and
an uncle, Rev. Neil Arnold, of
Newfane Methodist Church, of
ficiating. Burial will be in Riv-
erdale Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10 a.m.
Tuesday. the family will be
present from 2 to 5 p.m. and
7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
