Catholic Church rites and military
honors marked the funeral
services for Clarence Belknap,
World War veteran who served
oversees in the U. S. aerial service,
which were held at 8:30
o'clock Friday morning, 328
North Fulton Street, and at 9
o'clock at Holy Family Church. A
requiem high Mass was sung by
Rev. John J. Heely with Rev.
Dean John A. Conway and
Rev. William E. Davie in the sanctuary.
The funeral was largely
attended and there many Mass
cards and flowers. Burial was in
St Joseph's Cemetery, where services
were conducted by Dean
Conway and Father Healy:
The funeral cortege stopped at
Memorial City Hall, while "Old
Wheeler" tolled a tribute. Taps
at the grave were sounded by
Buglar Francis Mastropletro. The
casket was draped with the American
flag. Bearers were James
Bannon, James Gillooly, Michael
Ryan, Patrick Hennessey, Andrew
Shapley and Joseph Myers.

BELKNAP - In Auburn. N. Y..
Tuesday night, April 1, at his
home, 128 North Fulton Street,
Clarence Joseph Belknap, husband
of Agnes Belknap, aged 47
years. Funeral will be held from
his home on Friday morning at
8:30 with services at Holy Family
Church at 9 o'clock. Burial
will be made in St. Joseph's
cemetery.
