- Frank P. Bellavia, Sr., 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday, February 7th, 2019 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Philip and Edna J. (Smith) Bellavia. Frank attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1972. On May 26, 1973 he married his beloved wife, Barbara (Casper) Bellavia at the former Sacred Heart Church. Frank was the owner and operator of Frank’s Body Shop on Niagara Falls Boulevard for 25 years. He later retired from Listen Manufacturing Company as a machinist after 15 years of service. In his leisure time he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 45 of years, Mr. Bellavia is survived by his children, Frank (Brianne) Bellavia, Jr. and Dana (William) Rodgers; four grandchildren, Bryce and Ian Rodgers and Frank, III and Zoe Bellavia; his brother, Guy (Gail) Bellavia and half-sister Jennie Piwowarski. Frank is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 12th from 2 – 7 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 7 P.M.
