Bellona, Sept. 1-The marriage
of Miss Mae Waneta Neally,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
E. Neally of Bellona and Herman
E. Bellis, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Claude Bellis of Gorham, was solemnized
at high noon today at
fiie home of the brides parents in
Bellona.
The ceremony was performed In
front of a bank of ferns, blue
Queen Anne's lace and yellow gladiolus
by Rev. Lynn S. Bugbee.
pastor of the Bellona Methodist
Episcopal church. Lohengrin's
Wedding March was played by Miss
Theda Long, a cousin of the
bride. Mrs. Robert Gelder sang, "I
Love You Truly" Immediately preceding
the ceremony.
The bride wore blue printed
chiffon over blue and carried an
arm bouquet of yellow roses and
delphinium,- -
Mrs. Paul Neally of Penn Yan,
sister-in-law of the bride, was
matron of honor. She wore yellow
prmted chiffon over veltow and
earned a bouquet of larkspur and
yellow snapdragons.
The bridesmaid, Mrs. Grattan
Lawrence of Gorham, wort blue
printed chiffon over pink and carried
pink snadragons and pon pon
asters.
The bridegroom was attended by
Paul Neally, brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony a dinner
was served to about forty
guests. Covers were laid for fourteen
at the bride's table which was
attractively arranged in a color
scheme of blue and yellow.
After a short motor trip the cou-
ple will reside in Penn Yan.
Among the pre-nuptial events
for the bride were a pantry show-
er by Mrs Howard Eddings, Mrs.
Grattan Laurence and Mrs. Harry
Brizzee at the home of the former;
variety shower by Miss Theda
long; variety shower by
Mrs Howard McFarren and Miss
Jessie McFarren at the home of
we former; variety shower and
picnic at Red Jacket Park by Mrs.
Paul Neally; luncheon and shower
by Bluebird Guild at the home of
Mrs. Harold Platman; bedroom
shower by Mrs. Ray Valder and
Mrs.Robert Gelder at the home
of the former
